About the project
Since Gang Parade will be breaking up in October 2026, we felt the need to create something for the members as well as fans. We want to gather illustrations from everyone who likes drawing and Gang Parade on this site, to convey all our memories and the intense feeling of gratitude to the Members. Also we’ll try to compile the illustrations in a doujinshi/fanzine to give to the members in october.
The project schedule until october (loosely):
- gather illustrations and publish them here on this site
- offer illustrations in postcard size as netprint for japanese fans (Maybe we can figure something out for international fans too! somehow..!)
- we’ll try to compile the illustrations into a doujinshi/zine in until the final concert, print it and gift it to the members if we can
Who is running this project?
The project was created by Takiyama Nao (@takiyama_nao) and kohaku (@ko89_)! If there is something you’d like to ask, feel free to contact kohaku via mail or twitter!
How to participate
- create a painting of one or more Gang Parade members (see format recommendations below)
- ideally save it as PNG file (JPEG is also OK! However try to save it in the best quality possible for printing.)
- send it via this form or mail
- You can draw more than one illustration, if you want! (depending on the number of submissions it might not be possible to print all of them, but we’ll try!!)
Rules
We’re trying to keep the rules simple so many people can submit.
- Please only send in fanart you created yourself. So no AI stuff, no paintings by other people. We want you to express your own feelings!
- Please send only Fanart of the current lineup (for now). This rule might be changed later. But as this is intended to be a gift to the current members we want to at least get enough paintings of each of them first.
Format recommendations
Basically there are no restrictions on what size your illustration should be, as long as it fits an A5 page (148x210mm). However, if you send them in postcard or cheki format, it makes it easier to also offer them as netprint or as a kind of cheki print.
-
Postcard format
If you send illustrations in the format 178x127mm, we’ll upload them to the netprint service.
(Netprint is a service offered by japanese convenience stores where everyone with the netprint code can print out a copy for themselves on postcard paper)
This makes distributing the illustrations among fans much easier.
If possible, we’d like to put a netprint code on each postcard page. So fans can print out the postcards they like and maybe use them to send messages to Gang Parade.
Since the format is quite large, it’s well suited for group illustrations with many members. Of course solo illustrations are also OK! -
Cheki format
Since cheki are such a big part of idol culture, we are planning to do “cheki-style” prints (with the white borders).
Please send the submission in 46x62mm format.
(If possible, we might even print some as real cheki with a cheki printer…!)
The cheki format is relatively small so it’s probably more suited to solo and smaller group illustrations, but don’t let that stop you from drawing all 11 members!!
